Story of Sharz Weeks
I've loved writing since I was a teenager. Something about weaving words together to paint pictures in peoples’ minds has always appealed to me. I currently work in public health as an Epidemiologist, focusing on my work in equity and social justice. My professional experience is one of many sources of inspiration for my literary projects. Though writing has always been more of a hobby for me, in August of 2020, I decided to publish my debut novel: Hartwood House.
Born in Arizona but raised in New Mexico, I've spent most of my life in the southwest. I admire the beautiful landscape, culture, and artwork of my home state. Often called a Jetsetter by my family, I tend to do most of my writing while traveling, whether it’s within the US or abroad. The things I experience on my travels inspire and influence much of my writing. I love fantasy, mystery, and paranormal literature the most, but I'm known to dabble in a variety of genres. I currently live with my husband, Phillip, and our two adorable dogs in Albuquerque, NM.
